“Please check the photos. This is the Shohonyama Yaginoshima Karasu 60′ size from Kyoto, For Finishing Razors. I hardly ever see Yaginoshima Karasu in the market, luckily one of our supplier found one while he was cutting a gemstone from Tomae layer, then very kindly, allocated to us. The hardness seems 4.0-4.5 a little bit softer than Ozuku, Nakayama. On the center of sharpening face, brown ”Kawa ( stone skin)” shows, it will be disappeared after a few times of flattening wotk. All other lines are not Suji line, seems not hit when sharpening. Apart from the sharpening face, cured lightly. Please note that these are not for beginner sharpeners since they’re harder to use.These are natural stones meaning that every single one of them are different so my measured size are not accurate.
