With a max output of 250 lumens, the H15S Wave has three output modes, an integrated diffuser filter, and 36 hours of useful runtime. It also comes with a IR (Infrared) sensor that allows the light to be powered on and off with a sweep of your hand. This is particularly useful for certain applications where contact-free operation is a must, such as administering first aid, setting up camp, or even outdoor enthusiasts riding or climbing with heavy gloves. The battery charges from a Micro-USB cable allowing the light to be charged from either a computer, 5V USB power, or appropriately sized solar panel. Alternately, the H15S can be powered by (4) AAA batteries, either Alkaline or Ni-MH.
