“Please check the photos. This is the Ohira Uchigumori haze for sword, which getting rare these days. Karasu slightly appears on the surface. The holy grail of all sharpening stones. Uniform abrasive grains of Uchigmori haze are easy to sharpen and polishing power is also high. Sharpened blade is finished in a pale, dull silver color. A purity is high from the sharpening face to the back face. Please adjust to the appropriate size according to the application. For flattening this valuable Ohira Uchigumori Suita, ”Omura-To” which is a Natural Whetstone from Wakayama Pref. is recommended.
Please note that these are not for beginner sharpeners since they’re harder to use.These are natural stones meaning that every single one of them are different so my measured size are not accurate. This is a life time investment for people who lives sharpening their knives and tools, do not hesitate to ask me your questions.”
